Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.
Glamour is TRUE ENDGAME

I've seen some new BLMs do this. I'm guessing they assume that they should be doing the ST Enochian rotation because it's made of higher level skills. Just ask them to please do their AoE rotation.
If someone's play style irks you so much to that you feel compelled to make a post about it, just leave. (That's what I do). Some people just can't handle DF and you appear to be one of them.

I'm really hoping this beginner hall thing they're adding will at least have a couple pop up texts that explain DoT potency, when to use AoE, and what "use on cool down" means. Preferably in obnoxious neon colored text and a lock out that won't go to the next pop up until its read out loud very slowly.
If only...
Always be annoyed at bad DPS. NIN are the easiest to be bad at, it seems; I can count the NIN who use Goad on one hand after an unfortunate bandsaw accident.

Ongoing mission: Tank everything on DRG. On purpose.

I hate tanks providing anecdotal evidence in a whine thread.

I see as many face-palm inducing tanks and healers. Does that mean I should open a thread in the tank and healer forums asking "Should I be annoyed by bad players being bad?"
No.
It means I pull up my britches, slaughter things wholesale, get my tomes, and get out.
It means I don't create a circle jerk thread that puts the blame of all my misfortune on somebody else while nicely excluding any of the times I may have personally bit the dust or !#@%ed it up royally.
In short; The forum needs less of this, not more.

The thing is if you get a bad healer or tank who drops aggro or lets people die a lot, they usually get burned for it and a lot of the time they get votekicked. If a DPS is lazy nobody bats an eyelash unless they're being exceptionally bad, it's just a lot easier to get away with in on DPS than it is on the other roles. I can tell you a decent few times where I've messed up personally in dungeons but I can tell you a million more where I was irked by somebody being exceptionally bad.
Responding to the thread topic though I personally find it annoying when I drop into a dungeon, pull 3-4 groups of mobs as a tank, and the pack is getting tickled down while one mob is nearly dead because one of the DPS is only single-targeting on like ten mobs. The worst part is you tend to get the whole "let me play my job!!" attitudes whenever you ask them to use their aoe.

This is a multidimensional problem. Not only does the game allow people that got absolutely no clue of how to play their classes or/are undergeared queue for said content, it throws all the hard work back to healers and tanks making the roles infuriating at times.
I won't even mention the low level dungeons, but for example the new pre-60 dungeons level 51-53-55 etc, they are a nightmare to do unless you make a premade group. Why? Because you got Fate and Roulette Levelers that got level 30 gear and know only how to use their basic rotation which they used in level 15 Sastasha. DPS using their level 15 rotation: Check, Healers spamming Cure II: Check, Tanks that can't keep aggro: Check.
There needs to be some kind of wall that people wont be able to pass unless they get certain ilevel and skill. Be it some kind of proving grounds, training or w/e, the bottom line is you cant just throw people at level 50-60 with 30 skills and no idea of how to use them wearing a level 30 rag from Haukke Manor and expect people to carry them over.
I find you can have a much better time by not concerning yourself with everyone else's imperfections.
