Im just sad that new people will NEVER get to experience any of those pre-3.0 fights because people just them unsynced, which is a dull experience imo.

    Are you this rude always?
I realize that's what you'd like to think your point is, because you think it makes your argument sound less petty. But what you're really trying to argue is that people shouldn't be able to get a pony in a way that's easier than the way you got it because it makes you feel less special.

Understanding one's own motivations is the biggest hurdle when trying to truly grasp psychology.

The OP might have some personal feelings here, but first and foremost it makes the mounts less special in general.
Achievements and progress are two different things. It shouldn't be about walking a certain distance, rather than treading a specific route. I don't see, why everyone should be entitled to own the ponies, if they aren't able to meet the requirements.
Please notice that I myself don't have any of the ponies yet and still, I completely take the OP's side on this matter.

I'd only call rewards outdated, if they get replaced by future content. In case of the primal mounts, this is clearly not the case. Therefore, they aren't any less valuable now, than when they were first introduced. Just the demand for them declined.

Well, they are able to meet the requirements: Kill Primal (EX) and get lucky. There is no other requirement. Soooo...yeah. The requirement just happens to be met more easily now. Just like leveling in 1.0 has been harder and getting to max was much more of an achievement. So should we now make leveling as hard as back in the days again so people "deserve" their levels? Or just move on and be glad it's easier to meet the requirements for max level now?

That depends on what exactly you mean by harder. If it actually was a challenge to aquire new XP, due to difficult encounters and no easy alternatives, rather than a long grind and therefore just a matter of time; then yes, maybe we should go back to this. I would enjoy this more, than a pointless progression. I've never been a friend of rushing to the level cap. Doing so only teaches you the basics of your class, in the end many players are just beginners with higher stats.

Btw. I meant being able to meat the initial requirements (Extreme Lvl.50). Challenges shouldn't become easier by system, but by practice. If you want a lower difficulty you should also be content with lesser rewards.
Which leads us back to the initial question. Should the rewards for completely different difficulty levels be the same?
It's like asking for the current raid gear to be obtainable in an easy mode. I assume the majority would be dissapointed if the hardest difficulty for the current content would be pointless, reward wise. So, why should it be any different for the older content. Is it everyone's right to easily get everything in the game, if they just wait long enough? I wouldn't say so. There are things in the game, which you grab on your way and things, which require some commitment and in my opinion it should stay like this, no matter how old the content is. The only thing they should lower as the game goes on is the time commitment forced by the system, aka grind.
