New Shield Swipe - role is reversed?

I used Shield Swipe not as a threat lead but to do damage. I think I maybe the only player in this game that puts DEX on my PLD. lol I'm talking about out of millions. So the change was bound to happen. I have no influence.Most ppl are so into getting to end game content that the looted gear is the only gear they prefer and crafted gear is glamour. Just to show ppl they are at a certain level in crafting. I would prefer crafted gear because it can be modified with materia. When logged in I find a lot of players who have HQ crafted gear with no materia in it and if they have materia in it they have materia affixed with ACC, VIT, CRT, STR and DET. Not one tank I've seen had DEX affixed to their crafted gear or had a looted accessory of aiming on.

You should stop, because DEX stopped affecting parry/block rates when the expansion rolled out.

STR stopped affecting parry/block strength as well.

No it didn't. You don't know what you're talking about. You sound like one of those ppl who want to change the depth of this game because you don't have enough time to get into all the features.

DEX and STR compliment each other with a shield. DEX triggers a block and STR mitigates damage after a block. STR also mitigates damage when a parry occurs and DEX increases the amount of parry. The way they have mapped out these stats is pretty cool. I'm not a Mage but I bet that INT, MND & PTY compliment each other as well. We don't know this yet because ppl are so into all the content when it drops these features are ignored and ppl try to influence that these hidden features don't exist.
