What does STR give? You are under the impression that I'm using DEX as attack power. I'm not. I shouldn't have to say this but it's consistent with most ppl who think they're good tanks. They think that developers have loaded all the stats necessary for players to tank.

DEX has a hidden effect on shields. Shields have 3 types of stats that keep players from having to load up on DEX. Light Shiels (High Block Rates/Low Block Damage); Blanced Shields ( Equal Block Rate/Block Damage);and Heavy Shields ( Low Block Rate /High Block Damage). All of which you can pair with gear to get the most out of its defensive stats. You wouldn't know this if you play this game to just clear end game content.
