No one said that Alex' story doesn't make sense. We just don't want a story about petty housewives who steal each other's recipes as the main hook for the highest raid ingame

I think this might be my biggest problem with the whole story so far, now that I think about it.
In the whole yawn-inducing "story", there was exactly ONE time I had a brief moment of "OH SHIT", and that was when we realized the messenger cat had organized a raid on our base of operations while we were still inside Alex.
I stormed out, hurried over in worry, expecting important things lost, people hurt, whatever....but NOPE, someone had this brilliant idea: "Hey, you know what this story needs? Even less of a hook for people to care about it, so let's resolve everything without ANY kind of threat after all!" They even had the perfect opportunity, and they actively chose to throw it away...honestly, that's just mind-boggling to me o,Ô
