please no
dignity is already pretty overpowered compared to the other instant single heal cooldowns. increasing the base healing a bit could be ok but lowering the cooldown? if they did that they would also need to lower tetra cd to 30 sec
The "problem" with PoM is that if you're already behind on healing, you don't have time to wait on the animation lockout to start catching up.
I do find it useful as a planned CD, and for DPS. As a clutch CD? No, not really.
Yeah at this point i'm pretty much going to go down the list of threads extolling the virtues of FUCKING SWIFTCAST. You know what you can do during a swiftcasted spell's gcd? POP THINGS.
Although POM is really really fucking badass. I don't think you realize just how good it is. It takes its entire animation time off the gcd for you, so you don't actually lose time.
On the contrary, I do. As I've said, I find it very useful as a planned CD.
Yes, you can pop it after a Swiftcasted spell or a regen or something like that, provided Swiftcast isn't on CD and regen is the right spell to use a GCD on, or other situational circumstances. But that's just it... it's very situational and so it's not really a clutch CD in my mind.
To each their own, I suppose.
Pretty Overpowered ? Please no.
It's weaker than Tetra and it's the only heal ogcd Ast got.
And for Pom, it's pretty useful for planned cd or not.
Like Immut said, It's amazing with swiftcast but if you don't have it, you could always use Tetra/assize/bene for tempo.
I think the difference between the healing classes has already been MASSIVELY greyed out since 3.0.
They made whm more sch, sch more whm, and ast whm/sch hybrid. As a healer I miss the 2.0 days where lustrate is extremely OP, and whm actually have to MP manage and press just the right amount of buttons to be effective.
Lustrate got buffed in HW. xD And honestly I do feel they did an alright job between the 3. I leveled my AST/WHM to 60 recently and going back to SCH was just nauseating (At first)! Mostly its about how you get away with DPSing while keeping everyone healed. They all do the same thing, just in a different way.
How did lustrate get buffed in HW?
Lustrate vs Old. (It's amazing like it is I promise)
This change was overall better for Pld/drk (~5%less on War) and always better for all tanks when it crits."
PLD Tank has 15k health
War has 15k base (18.5k with defiance)
Old Lustrate (25%)
PLD Tank is healed 3750.
War in defiance is healed 4688.
New Lustrate. (600 potency)
PLD Tank is healed 4400
War in Defiance is also healed 4400.
New Lustrate. (600 potency+crit)
CRITICAL! PLD Tank is healed 6600.
CRITICAL! War in Defiance is also healed 6600.
Old vs New Lustrate
PLD Net gain:+15%.
War in Defiance:~-7%.
Old vs Crit Lustrate:
PLD Net gain:+~43%.
War in Defiance:~+29%.
On dps this change is drastic

Did you account for tank's HP is higher now? 30% of 19000 HP is 5700 HP, and crit is RNG?
