Technically speaking, I don't think this game has (literally) brought anyone back from the dead. Unless I'm missing something?

Only the bad guy SMN, but those were corpses and a simple Deathflare in an area void of corpses will kill a Lesser Ascian just fine (different story with Ascian Overlords). If they did bring back Moonbreeda and Horsefarts, I'd be disappointed...

Iceheart I wouldn't be surprised with (depending on how much she knows about the Echo, she could still be "alive").

He could be summoned as the primal Ixion as many fans already have discussed, it would be interesting!

Eh, difference is, Moenbryda turned herself into aether to defeat the target, Iceheart disappeared into aether with her final Primal Summoning and Haurchefant was pierced by an attack while his body remained intact, so it's plausible that they could use his body. Who knows maybe it's the very reason why they are using it because the lance he was pierced with could of carried some residual aether that made the body more appetizing to take control of for an ascian.

I don't think it'd be cool at all. Maybe it's just me. As much as I like Haurchefant, I think he should stay dead.

Just because I don't think people fully understand what the photoshops would mean in lore, going back to the MSQ and 50-60 SMN quests...

The Ascians can inhabit bodies. We know they can living (Thancrid wishes we'd forget that), but they can also possess the dead. A lesser Ascian reanimates Kahedin, Tristan's long dead Tempered brother to do their bidding. We also learn that if the Ascian himself were to be killed he could possess a nearby dead body and continue on.

Haucherfaunt wouldn't be brought back to life one bit. No, his body would just be used as a puppet by an Ascian to demoralize and conquer the WoL
