I have my reservations about believing these pictures, but my god, I would LOVE this if it happened
They aren't real. And I'm happy they aren't. If they are, they look very poorly executed.
Haurchefaut's death was an important moment in the game for me and by far the most intense and emotional. Making him come back to life as an evil puppet controlled by the poor and one dimensional villain Lahabrea is poor and would just render his death meaningless and weak.
Besides, a character dying and brought back to life to be evil is already a thing with Louisoix. Please don't use that plot twist again.
Lahabrea is also dead. They aren't real. And I'm happy they aren't. If they are, they look very poorly executed.

no. Just absorbed by Nidhogg's eye. Not sure which one is better, nor if Lahabrea will get consumed by it or not, but by the "no corpse shown" law in J-RPGs, Lahabrea isn't dead yet.
tbh, I may have missed that. Though as the lil' Nanamo has "revived" when people said she was dead (but yet again, no corpse being buried or anything), I'd take that with a grain of salt

He could always come back as a guiding spirit, like A-Towa-Cant, without actually being reanimated.
Those are almost definitely fake. It'd be interesting, though.
I do think something like this would be different from what's happened with Nanamo and the Scions since the others weren't actually dead to begin with, while Haurchefaunt, indisputably, is. Here we actually saw a body and we personally verified it...in the other cases, we never had anything to confirm that they were actually dead (beyond any doubt, at least).Well it worked for me (regarding Nanamo), and I expect to pull the same stunt with the other Scions (they practically foreshadowed it the moment Y'sholta returned), but at the same time, I'm pretty sure Hauchefant is dead. And that those screens make a cheap plastic replica look more real.
Technically speaking, I don't think this game has (literally) brought anyone back from the dead. Unless I'm missing something?
