Lack of male/masculine glamours.

I understand that a great deal of players play female characters, but there is still a large number of us that don't, and would like some better looking items to suit our gender. Maybe even female character players want to look more butch.

I'm totally on-board with more macho glamours as long as they're gender-neutral. Right now female characters only have the option of the Noct Lorica/Adamantite Lorica, the Hawkliege Cyclas and the Best Man suit and only one of those isn't class-locked.

To be fair there's not really a lot of things only a man would/could wear. You say FFXIV doesn't have a lot of "masculine" or " male only" glamours. The real world also does not have this.

Everyone in your party in that game was a fashion disaster as well. Tidus had pants where one pant leg was a different length. Lulu's dress was made out of countless coiled ropes/belts. Wakka just looked strange all around..

That may be true where you live or back in the day but nowadays mens clothing IS designed to be more functional than fancy. Just walk into a department store and look at the vast difference in styles between womens clothing in the ladies section and then go to the mens section and all the shirts/oants/suits look pretty much the same. Your world is not my reality I can tell you that much.

Guys? The subjectivity of masculinity and femininity aside... Can we take a look at the current All Saints' Wake costume? For girls, the "coatee" is actually transformed into a short dress that works extremely well with the thighboots. For us dudes?
