    Lack of male/masculine glamours.

Wasn't there talk of the addition of more masculine apparel for glamours a while back? Whatever happened to that? It seems like the devs still churn out more and more feminine themed items with no real concern for the other side of the player base.

I understand that a great deal of players play female characters, but there is still a large number of us that don't, and would like some better looking items to suit our gender. Maybe even female character players want to look more butch. Please stop ignoring us. I'm really surprised this isn't more of a constant topic. Doesn't this bother anyone else?

Threads like this keep popping up because we have "female" glamour and "unisex" glamour. There are only a bare handful of pieces that are male exclusive. If they'd make us more male only glamours, you'd see less of these threads.

Because it keeps being an issue that isn't addressed.

Not sure if OP means actual male-only locked gear or really just more masculine pieces as opposed to unisex- and feminine-looking, but in regards to the issue with the previous one...

...this was posted in April. Since then, they still couldn't even tweak those stupid bunny ears to be unisex. Anything actually masculine since then? Er...well, not much. And both the unbalanced gender-locking and actual masculine-looking clothing have been issues way longer than since April.

Wait wut, unisex gear? Did you mean female-exclusive gear that we can't wear as male when female can wear almost all our suit? We don't even have equivalent. When we have snow, females have lightning. When we have summer special gear, females have their own. When females have spring robe or rabbit suit, we.... eeeh... << Even worst, when they sometime have their exclusive female, they can also were the one that is basically made for males....
SE, stop being pervert and give your male player some gear.

See you say there isn't enough masculine glamours for men but I'm finding there's not enough.... androgynous glamours for men.

    To each their own really

Clearly, the best Final Fantasy character is Locke Cole.

You aren't looking hard enough, there are plenty of masculine glamours. Some come from lower level dungeons, some come from older tome/seals, glamours vary from levels 1-60.

Also masculine is subjective. Some people believe masculine wearing only a speedo, while others think professional looking attire such as black suit with a clean haircut.

What is it that you are looking for?

im not the op but i agree with his sentiment. for what it's worth, neither of those strike me as masculine. wearing only a speedo strikes me as too european (im from southern california. we go swimming a lot. not even our homosexuals wear speedos.) and a black suit and clean haircut is formal attire only.

a real masculine look to me is less of a style and more of a lack of a style. a masculine look is when function dictates form. the clothes you wear are dictated wholly by the actions you intend to take. you aren't to look pretty, you are here to get shit done. it takes a masculine man at most 15 minutes to get ready in the morning. any longer than that and he's either sleeping in the shower or i start making character judgments.

So low level gear? It lacks style, it's boring, it's easy to put on, easy to obtain and to easy to go out in.

I prefer my high level stuff to be more out there and creative than being stuck to making specific masculine gear for men. I like the pretty and out there fantasy themed gear on my dragonboy.
low level gear is lower in visual quality too. there are some good sets for high level characters. they're called tank sets. the war set looks great. the drk set looks great. the pld set looks pretty good but i think it looks a little goofy. these are well-designed sets. i did prefer AF1 to AF2 for PLDs because AF2 for plds looks too idk, like it has a cape that's artificially stapled to your ass. WAR armor consistently looks like something a fighter might wear. it has plate and fur to keep you warm. DRK gear this time around really matches the lore of the class in that you're so tired with the nonsense surrounding being a hero that you've ceased bothering to repair your armor so now its all rusty and falling apart.

summoner gear on the other hand makes you look like you're intentionally inviting sexual attention. not a real big fan of the summoner set this time around. bare midriff, random butt wings, looks less like something you'd wear in a fight and more like something else.
