So which ending did you choose to be canon ending for this event story?

The Butler

The Waitress

the Wife

or

Secret Option

I've chosen the Secret Option because we know the suspect had to be small enough to fit into the costume and that a person saw that same costume near the couple.

Of course as the event stated the outcome will be the same no matter what so I'm guessing this Event story is a small glimps into a future Hildibrand Episode. Consider it a Filler episode for the Hildibrand series focused on our character when we're not stuck in one of Hildibrand's Cases.

1 "good" ending.
1 "true" ending.

The good ending requires:

You talk to Kokomui, check the tray, find the phial, talk to Hitchcock to get the glass and find the empty Sabotender suit. These will all open up new dialog choices and allow you to point to Kokomui as the actual murderer.

The true ending requires:

Finding all the clues for the "good ending" and also the parchment scrap. The parchment scrap will open up a final dialog option that will reveal the full truth of the events and a cutscene with a visit from a special guest.

Hm I never notice that specific item when i doubled checked all areas despite finding all the clues for Good ending. Does it pop up at a specific location?

In the area where the Triple Triad games take place, look at the left wall when you first walk in.

I did all this and couldn't get a third option to appear under the sabotender option. I answered drink > sweet scent > prepared > senor sabotender but didn't get a legit option, despite collecting all the evidence you listed as required.

Gonna put some HBs on my post just 'cause spoilers.

I knew the story involved a murder, so before my boyfriend and I even started it I jokingly said, "I'm going to blame the first Lala I see." As soon as we found the costume I started laughing so hard. Uh... GG FFXIV racism for leading me to victory?

Also, I remember when the GS first came out and I saw the Senor Sabotenders emoting (specifically their little panic). I always wondered if they were just Lalas in costumes.

I remember once pointing out they used Lala emotes, and that I assumed lalas were in the costumes. I got called stupid because the proportions were supposedly wrong.

All I have to say is I feel very vindicated knowing the truth.

I always collected every piece of evidence to be safe. The game tells you when you find it all. There's also a list showing the coordinates on Reddit somewhere.
