Was in Aurum on my alt's pre-50 WHM - first time for that alt into AV. We did completely fine up to the first boss and, for some reason, everything went to hell and we wiped.
On the first boss.
I don't even understand what I did differently than norm.
I was so embarrassed by this, that, when asked if we were new and the DPS said they were..... I confess that I just silently rode the 'they're newbies' wave..... (never said I was or wasn't... but the "--- has completed the map" said it for me >>)

Typical, easy dungeon: open with Regen and Asylum and go for Holy Spam. See tank health dropping fast as soon as stun coverage is almost done. "Ehh, he'll pop a CD now that he knows they're not stunlocked." Do one extra Holy after stun-DR. Bene late. Tank's dead. "Guess he swapped jobs too recently for CDs?"

Guilty.
When I'm rouletting with my tank pal I know when he's going to pop a cd and how much dps I can squeeze in before switching stance.
Granted, he sometimes drops to 5% or less before Bene/ Tetra hits but he doesn't die, so everything is fine.
With rnd tanks however the incoming damage tends to be bloody insane when they pull the whole 2nd isle in Neverreap. Naturally onw or two of them died because I thought "He'll pop a cd, I'll tetra him after the next Holy" until I knew better.
Sometimes not even Regen + Asylum + Cure II spam with PoM and/or DS is enough to keep them alive.

That doesn't really give it away. I mean there's still a few dungeons I've ran 1000s of time and still haven't been to every room.

The problem I have with messages like that in regards to that "bonus" message is, if I'm trying to clear several times and we keep wiping, the "bonus" still sticks til you clear. So even if I've seen the whole fight, I'm still locked out of most PFs.
