Not going to lie: this happens to me at least once per week in Expert Roulette. Not necessarily with the death, but it gets pretty damn close sometimes. Sometimes tanks seem really hesitant to use their CDs.Typical, easy dungeon: open with Regen and Asylum and go for Holy Spam. See tank health dropping fast as soon as stun coverage is almost done. "Ehh, he'll pop a CD now that he knows they're not stunlocked." Do one extra Holy after stun-DR. Bene late. Tank's dead. "Guess he swapped jobs too recently for CDs?"
Sigh. I'm really tired of tanks not poping CDs during trash at all. It's like low dps I'm bored wanna contribute some damage... tank just keeps dropping in health... not a single CD seenTypical, easy dungeon: open with Regen and Asylum and go for Holy Spam. I have gotten so used to Cure 2 spam on expert roulette trying to keep non cooldown, low HP tanks alive it is now my default heal.
Even when I could now use Cure 1 in a less healing intense fight like Alexander.
I'm so horrible. I did a fractal run with my tank, who I'm married to ingame, and there was this dps who kept hitting on him even though I was like "MINE". Sooooo I decided at the last boss that if she messed up, I wouldn't make it a big priority to heal her. Well, she messed up, and died. I acted like I was too busy healing to rez her for a bit there, but decided to go ahead and do so after a little bit. I felt so evil hahaha. My tank was laughing the entire time.
If the tank is actually good they will blow their best cooldown(s) on the first big pull for max party DPS, plus getting the cooldown timer started on them early as possible is always best. Neverreap first island entire mob pull? PLDs should prepare to use Hallowed Ground. It will be back up for the bees, even if your DPS is fast. With DRK, living dead is easy to react to early. But yeah smart CD use separates the good ones from the mediocre.
I get the "I don't want to heal right now" feeling more often. I thought I would always be understanding and give my all, but when I get a Tank with effing 120 gear when you should have 139 I just can't. I would never abandon a dungeon or a boss, but I will definetly not be happy with the situation and it will show. Even more so when I had a really good Tank before that, who faced the boss away from the group. That's my confession, I get really angry lately.

I love pre-preping regen and sometimes wipe my savage when I cast it on pull while tired. My number one reason for killing tanks in EX Roul is because cleric stance was still on...
Was in Aurum on my alt's pre-50 WHM - first time for that alt into AV. We did completely fine up to the first boss and, for some reason, everything went to hell and we wiped.
On the first boss.
I don't even understand what I did differently than norm.
I was so embarrassed by this, that, when asked if we were new and the DPS said they were..... I confess that I just silently rode the 'they're newbies' wave..... (never said I was or wasn't... but the "--- has completed the map" said it for me >>)

Guilty.
When I'm rouletting with my tank pal I know when he's going to pop a cd and how much dps I can squeeze in before switching stance.
Granted, he sometimes drops to 5% or less before Bene/ Tetra hits but he doesn't die, so everything is fine.
With rnd tanks however the incoming damage tends to be bloody insane when they pull the whole 2nd isle in Neverreap. Naturally onw or two of them died because I thought "He'll pop a cd, I'll tetra him after the next Holy" until I knew better.
Sometimes not even Regen + Asylum + Cure II spam with PoM and/or DS is enough to keep them alive.
Oh, oh, I've got a good one just from today!
I was looking up what spell a fc mate - who levels SCH - was getting at lvl 52 and then I see it. I SEE A MOTHERFUCKING SPELL I NEVER USED BC I DONT EVEN HAVE IT ON MY BAR. The SCH 58 spell
I'm a SCH main and lvl 60 since maybe 2 weeks after HW hit and just... DERP
Well I've been doing well even w/o this spell but still, it's pretty nice and I'd rather have overseen the lvl 60 spell which I used..I dunno maybe twice
Also while leveling AST I pretty much let the tank die so many times (while attemprtng to dps and being busy with getting familiar with all the cards and stuff) like I never did with the WHM and SCH. I still blame some spells reacting kinda clunky uû
