Developers also need to stop just copy/pasting one set to another. This has been a thing since 2.0 Day 1. These are raids and big end game content, does it take up so much space and resources to give the 6 gear categories their own set? Like Void Ark here, MNK and NIN have the same looking set, just different color. Caster and Healer share the same set except different colors. If it is truly a problem to make something unique for each gear set I can understand, but looking at it from the outside, it just looks like cutting corners to me.

I think it is more a matter of developement time. To design a new model need more time than to change an already finished model.

That is more than fine for things like leveling dungeons or lower end game dungeon gear. The gear I refer to is the big time end game gear that is considered at least in it's prime the best. I understand if there is something in the design process I may not be aware of, but it feels underwhelming that the designers just copy/paste sets and recolor them. The end game raid armor I mean.
