I don't get why people are surprised at the low ilvl check for Void Ark. 24 man raids are never going to be on the same difficulty as Coil/Alexander.

My guess on the gears:
The white/obvious one most likely healer. Then they hyur lady left of the potato I'm assuming it's caster since it's the same model.

Skipping all the way to the right, gonna go for tank gear, with loldrg gears on its left.

As for the last three I'm not sure. If it's like WoD, the gear set worn by the roe and the catgirl (same model minus hat) would be the MNK/NIN sets with the last gear set worn by the male au ra would be BRD+MCH. If it's like Alexander gears though, the roe/catgirl sets would be BRD+MCH/NIN with the male au ra one would be MNK.

Do we know anything about the sky pirates? I don't recall there ever being any mention of this during the main story.

Any story being shared about sky pirates certainly does seem interesting! With some luck, there will be more info shared about the allagans. If this is unrelated to allagans I'd be ok with the introduction of a new faction in Ishgard.

Eh, I was close in my prediction on the required ilvl. It would have never been above Asuran law gear because they would never tie the big easy raid for "teh casuals" behind an ilvl you could only achieve through a weekly lockout. Gear looks ok, wish tanks could be given something that isn't a skirt every patch.

At least I won't have to farm it and endure the stupidity of 23 other players. So there is that.
