And Bard gear will be a plenty....
I agree that the gear all have similarities but look @ what previous raids had, it is not the most ugly

If that tattered coat is part of the tank set, then I will happily gear my tank through Void Ark, that looks swag as hell.

Everything else...eh, its alright, better than Syrcus gear at least.

I guess the gear isn't bad. As a blm myself, I kinda wish all our gear wasn't the same old black, but I guess it comes with the name. I really liked the CT red caster set, but never got around to farming the gear for that. By the time I reached lvl 50, ST was already out and WOD came shortly after. I worked long and hard for the WOD set though, and I loved it.
Anywho, I foresee long hrs grinding Void Ark in my future lol

All the (totally valid) complaints about palette swapping aside for the moment... Can we please get some non-healing/casting gear where the shoulders aren't bulked out to hell and back? Like, does every single piece of gear in this game need shoulder pads, shoulder armor that doesn't seem proportional to the person wearing it, randomly floating shoulder decorations, collars larger than the shoulders they are supposed to be sitting on, etc. etc.?

I understand that some people like that aesthetic, but good lord, there's a such thing as too much already. I want to enjoy wearing armor in this game, but I keep finding myself glamouring crafting gear because that's the only stuff that doesn't turn my character's shoulders into potential lethal weapons...

anyway, the inside of the ark looks really nice. though having diabolos return here feels wrong to me (especially since i was expecting Amdapor City hard in 3.2 or sometimes down the road). after all the ark might not be as unique as they told us...

Amdapor City (hard) will get another endboss. I can't remember a hard dungeon with the same endboss as the normal counterpart. Even the endboss of Hauke only returned as an add in Hauke (hard).

I admit I also thought the second one was the aiming gear, mainly because all the others lacked a swag hat. On closer inspection though...

I don't envy what seem to be striking and scouting gear though, those look really bland. Everything else looks good, I'm nearly always wearing black/dark colors anyways (because I'm ~edgy~ or ~emo~ or whatever people want to go with).

But really, the same loot system as CT? Can't we at least get more than one piece of gear per chest? :/ I liked the actual raids but I hated having to run them over and over, especially as most people either don't try to educate themselves on mechanics or ignored them entirely (I'm looking at you WoD and 1st LotA boss), fully expecting other people to carry them through.
