    Am I missing something? Where do you see this parser on the client? Is it available to PS3/PS4 players? Hint: It's not there, it's made available by third party software. So the necessity comes from those that use it. It's not something that every person has access to. I do know the way scripted battles work require optimization from the players but it's time SE moved away from that. The real reason behind scripted battles is that SE is able to plan how a battle will look, which is how they have been pushing graphics all this time on FF14. But for this game SE needs to be able to teach the minimum of these rotations/mechanics or move away to another way to do battles (Hint: AI).

    One of the things that really has me curious is how they are going to rework the controller crossbars with suggested actions to follow up what you do. But again that'd be applied only to people that play with controllers. That would exclude keyboard/mouse users.

    To reply to zosia: The way SE is bound to gather data on their own servers and the way ACT gathers data is not the same model. They are skilled people in both projects, but because of software design and engineering SE is bound by other rules than ACT. Not a question of skill.
