How many raiding groups do you know that don't have at least a person using a parser? (and there are other tools to compare server-wide performance of player base, but I'll stick to the parser that seems to be the only example given).

The data pushed by a "parser" compared to data gathered by developers is not the same. This affects greatly how end game content is designed and what raiders expect to have. I think this game should be more focused on gameplay over raw numerical data which can be pointed to a score.

The means to gauge a player are not really built into this game and it may be by design. This MMO is not every other MMO there is with a parser. If players want a parser and stereotype this MMO fine. I think it's wise to drive away players from those ideas.
Otherwise if they were to be introduced in this game, my advice to SE is to also make quests/tutorials available to players so they can learn how to use rotations and other mechanics of the game.
