was messing around, turns out i prefer higher skill speed than lower. at like 500 skillspeed, if you reapply your hotshot/dots properly, your timings for 60s and 90s/180s cds are gonna be 1 gcd behind

    http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/RPIQ

might be another option for endgame set. it just depends what you value more

69 det (eso helm, eso chest, eso belt). total skillspeed: 557. total crit: 818. total det: 528
    or
17 crit 50 skillspeed (gordian helm, grodian chest, gordian belt). total skillspeed: 607. total crit: 835. total det: 459

    Nice set.

I thought I would share what I've been working on here, since you bring up SPD for MCN. Since stat weights constantly change, I've been seeing if I could make a visual guide based on stat values, that anyone could quickly reference to for optimal performance. I know it would never work as well as a simulator, due to accounting for oGCD clipping etc but I think understanding how the stats scale holds some merit.

So then all you need to do is figure out what % of your damage is effected by each stat and figure out the best stat increase for each one.

Pretty sure that's already been said. Thanks for the nice pictures tho. In any case no mate hope much SKS you stack, an equivalent amount of DET is better. You would need a piece that had an equal amount of crit or acc with a retarded amount of SKS vs it's opposite piece which would have lower DET which just isn't going to happen. The only relevant reason to use SKS on a piece on MCH is if you don't need the ACC and you can fit a piece like the Eso head or Gordian body into your set and make the stat weights worth it. Again, I'm pretty sure someone's said that. I'm just reiterating.

Can I get a vague number for a good MCH solo parse for i200? That is SOLO PARSE. The only video I can find for near my ilevel has the guy with a visible party window open.. but purposefully blocked so you can't see who is in the party.

The reason I wanted to show the gains in a visual form is due to the fact that SPD and CRT have exponential gains were as DET only has linear gains. At a certain point value, both SPD and CRT overcome the gains of DET. Not for all classes due to the ratio of AA + oGCD to WS damage, but the potential is there for a lot of classes.

Edited: After examining various logs, it seems a more practical Ratio for MCN is 70GCD:30nonGCD

    Leaving this value:
    DET is 20% better @ +100 SPD and 9.5% better @ 1000 SPD

Typically used with a Clean Shot with Ammo during Wildfire(90s).

GB 30% -> Clean with Ammo 286 Potency + Crit.

Reassemble and Wildfire both have 90s CDs. So you just use it during Wildfire with full ammo from Reload during Clean Shot. No reason to use any other way.

hey does anyone know how buffs stack up ? like raging strikes(20%),b4b(10%) = rs(x1.2) n then b4b adds onto that by goin into (1.2 x 1.1 = 1.32) orr is it just (x1.3)(1.2+1.1). question is do buffs add from the buff calculations . n im not including any other buffs just to make a simple baseline question.Multiplied from base stats or multiplied from "current" stats.

if its multiplied then another question is when buffs start falling off, lets say raging strike falls off first, then you have b4b left, do you keep that buffed b4b or does it drop back to 10%. like i kno dots take snapshots of current buff all the way to the end, but do buffs work the same way?

Dont take anything I may say or ask offensively, my purpose in life is to learn as much as possible, whether it be about you or about the subject.

    Buffs are multiplicative
    So B4B(10%) x RS(20%) x HE.

No buffs don't buff other buffs like DoTs. DoTs will snapshot based on the buffs you had when you applied it but actual buff skills will not so if RS drops off then it'd just be B4B(10%) x HE.
