    Blasphemy! That video made me want to punch babies. Only way I could see you not liking Naruto is either you just don't like Anime or you only watched it in the worst possible English Dub I have ever seen in my entire life. o_o;;

Actually I love anime. I do not however perceive Naruto as anime, it is too marketed towards western cartoon and comedy styles.

    I do however love:
    Lucky star
    Haruhi Suzumiya
    Black Lagoon
    Neon Genesis Evangelion
    Burst Angel
    Chobits
    DearS
    Negima
    Azumanga Daioh
    To Love RU
    Welcome To The NHK
    Most Gundam series
    Girls Bravo
    Gungrave

    and a multitude of others.

Cue debate on how Naruto is/isn't anime in 3....2....1....

Really? Explain this: it is too marketed towards western cartoon and comedy styles.
Because from my extent from my stay in Japan that is one of the things I always loved about Naruto is the Japanese feeling and comedy it presents to the fullest. So I actually have a hard time understanding what you mean when you say that.

It's art style differs greatly from that of anime, don't ask me to explain that in detail, I can't, but when I look at something like Welcome To The NHK then I look at Naruto, they just look worlds apart. I suppose if I were to try and explain it to some degree, it would be that shows like Naruto and Dragonball Z look like they had the 'lazy animation' treatment, some movements are jerky or blurry because they didn't bother drawing the extra frames to add smoothness. It's rare to see what I perceive as anime that does not look crisp and smooth.
Most 'proper' anime (I'm loosely using that term) rarely go on for more than 2 or 3 seasons. Some do exceptionally well and continue for an extra 1 or 2, but they never go on for as many episodes as Naruto (I also don't consider Dragonball Z an anime either in case you were wondering)
Most fighting and action scenes in action anime tend to be short and intense sequences, Black Lagoon was adrenaline pumping, neon genesis evangelion was brute strength and constant tug-of-war. Shows like Naruto (and Dragonball Z) seem to often involve the characters standing around doing a lot of glaring, thinking to themselves and holding arguements with their opponent, sometimes for whole episodes at a time as it goes through a flashback sequence of the previous 5 episodes. (I'm generalising at this point but you should get what I mean)

Whether it's just that these shows simply follow a different style of anime which gives a brief outline of how they should be perceived and how the developers should pace the show (e.g/ Japanese anime/Korean anime) I don't know, I think I heard someone giving these two different kinds seperate names before the word 'anime', something like Shonen I think it was.
But basically that's how I feel about it, if it is simply a different style of anime creation that shows like Naruto, Dragonball Z and others like those all follow some kind of suit by, then I will begin to call it anime again but using the name of it's anime style. If not, I'll simply refuse to call it anime.

And Eekiki, I've never heard of Demon King Daimao, but now that I've finished typing this reposnse I'm gonna go google it :P
(Yes I am an ecchi fan too, as if the anime I listed didn't hint enough at that x3)
