The PS3 killed FFXIV

Not that I really care about the topic and all, but Anime such as Naruto, Dragon Ball and Bleach are in the multiple hundreds of episodes because they did so well in japan. It has nothing to do with the fact that they were well received in the west. The simple fact is they are Marketed to young men who like Heavy Action with an Over Arching story rather than the typical female oriented anime such as Clannad which is very heavy into character development and short stories to tell a Big story.

Personally I love both styles, though I can't stand watching anime like Naruto in less than 10 episode increments. That's simply because those anime are designed to be cliff hangers in every episode and nothing ever happens in twenty minutes.

I already mentioned the orange light of death we would get with the game as it is now :P

Well at least that means the ps3 version gets debunked and looks ugly. Then instead of the case of FFXI where xbox players were saying the game looked better on their machine than on the pc, it'll be the other way round, if they complain, we'll say "go buy pc".

Not wasting £300 on a crappy machine to play a game when I spent £1000 on this one over the years.

Sucks to be you guys. I got the Original 60 Gig PS3, runs like a dream, fully backward compatible, updates super fast, and has never once over heated.

Xbox on the other hand I had to mail in to get repaired 9 times....
