..yeah, punishment for DPS when jobs are not equal isn't the way to do it. As much fun as dps quarantine mechanics would be for good dps, it could be a nightmare for the rest of the party in bad situations..
Wait until they lock and start casting to use your important moves. They have crazy damage mitigation until the cast actually starts.
