That is true. If I remember correctly, FHD basically means 1080p, which very few console games run at (If any. I can't think of any off the top of my head). But to be honest, HD and FHD are pointless marketing terms anyways.For the record, and correct me if I'm wrong, but FFXIII wasn't FHD, it ran upscaled from 720p. Not that it matters much, as it's already been pointed out comparing single player games to MMOs is apples to oranges.
Also, the Crystal Tools engine wasn't even finished in 2005, there's no way that's running in-game. It's likely that prerendered cutscenes (a specialty of S-E) were one of the first things locked down in Crystal Tools, which they then used to show off their engine.
