    Green is related with life and approval while yellow is associated with caution courage and danger.

    Green     seems more appropriate.

    Otherwise people would probably question why the hell Square decided to go with such a bizarre decision when a century old standard is readily accepted almost universally.

    Green is accepted as a visual cue for safety. While Yellow world wide is used as a color for caution.

    You never see a green sign displayed "Warning Slip Hazard "

    Green has a "confirming" or "acceptance" feel to it, where as yellow has a "caution" or "alert" feel to it.

    I agree - yellow to me means caution, implying the gear might not be as optimal right now. Green means go! I think green for optimal would work best.
