Green has more positive connotations. All systems green ect. while yellow is more of a warning color.

All though I do ask that strong base primary colors are used for every thing. There are players (my self included) that have a lot of trouble distinguishing between the lighter spectrum's thanks to various forms of color blindness. For fully monochromatics a arrow or triangle pointed up or down would help out a ton. It would also help to reinforce the data being presented for those with full spectrum vision.

Wow.. been a while since i have stood on this particular soap box.

A colour-code seen in many other MMO's to label the difficulty and thus 'optimal rank' of an enemy. He has a very good point with this me thinks.

I think green is universally accepted as a color that indicates things are optimal. Certainly more so than yellow would be, at least.

"Optimal" is associated most strongly with green, in my opinion.

My vote would be for Green being optimal. Just like signal lights, green is go, yellow warning, red is stop.

    Also -

I think the system as laid out in the "UI Adjsutments" is a little too unintuitive.

In my opinion, the UI should be more simple and easier to understand, using as little colors as possible to convey necessary information:

RED - player is below optimal rank, AND player is not the optimal class

YELLOW - player is below optimal rank, OR player is not the optimal class

    GREEN
    - player is optimal rank or above, AND player is the optimal class

    Don't need purple at all.
