i went back to look at the NPC and circled around. the tail is more of a bunny like race.

so maybe a tease on what a new race might be. add the small ones around and after awhile in time. they grow up and become the next race? just that unlike Au Ra, we do not know where these came from just yet.

Wasn't there some official art of a bunny-looking child when they were considering new races for HW?

i personally can not recall. there may or may not have been. i am not 100% sure on my end though. just after going back to look at it more closely is from reading this thread.

I think that Japanese Bobtails can have tails like that, so why not a new variant of Miqo'te? A bobtail option would be cool. I actually have 3 bobtail cats and 2 of them, the tail is very broad, and fluffy, like a rabbit tail almost. One of them, called Neko, looks not unlike this

...though my Neko is a little rounder and has less white socks and more color.

There's another Miqo'te Girl (named as such) in Mor Dhona who also has a short tail. They're Miqo'te children.

i only knew the one that was posted. since i was only speculating by what only one showed as each one seems to be timed on showing up. i have not came across the others myself. so thanks for pointing it out that others are indeed around the realm.
