This debate is never going to end until SE finally steps in, just like the STR vs VIT debate going on with tanks currently.

We definitely need an ingame parser or to have third party ones officially sanctioned. As others have said, there's no reason for tanks and healers to be held to certain standards but DPS get a free ride.
