Why is glam quest level 50 and not like 15?

Well, because it is a privilege. A privilege you get once you hit 50. This also isn't GW2.

If the only thing keeping a player playing FF over GW was being able to keep your class specific equipment glamoured over your low level dungeon loot, then you were prooobably going to inevitably be leaving soon anyhoo. I'm also not necessarily disagreeing with you, I'm just saying that the topic is a lot less dire and a whole lot more "Who even cares?"

What newbie GW2 player is going to blow money on transmutation charges? You get plenty of them as you play the game, but not enough to justify using them on low level gear.
Of course, low level GW2 gear doesn't look like ass, usually.
