You don't even have to use Faust for an example. Even easier content like Ultros and Typhoon have people fail them very often.

I cant see why not.
If people want to try out savage with random people even though it means a probable failure, it is their choice.
"But they wont be able to beat it!!!" And what do you have to do with it? If you dont like, dont do it.
The only thing they should do is require a decent amount of iLvL (maybe ilvl190) for A1S, for example, and do a warning that Savage is designed for very coordinates groups.
There you go.
exactly. thank you.I cant see why not.

Maybe some would go in realizing they had little chance of clearing, but many wouldn't. And then you get the endless rants about it needs nerfing, until SE buckle and do just that. As has happened with practically all content so far.I cant see why not.

Nothing is stopping 8 random people grouping up and going in just to see it, you can create a party in PF.
In my personal opinion though, I do not fancy chances of filling such a party, as I just don't think there are that many people that want to go in "just to see it" and wipe in 30 seconds. If there were, people would be doing just this surely?
Haven't there already been endless rants about it? "Savage is too much of a DPS check", "Paladins aren't good enough for Savage", and in the earlier days of Savage "MCH DPS isn't good enough for Savage". There may be more, but I haven't paid too much attention to them. I honestly think they'll nerf it regardless of whether or not it ends up in Duty Finder, if not a mechanic nerf, they'd probably add Echo. I hope that doesn't happen though.Maybe some would go in realizing they had little chance of clearing, but many wouldn't. Also other arguments have been thrown around that aren't just "I want to see it" such as actually getting some practice done in Savage, which isn't an impossibility as some of you would like to believe. Party Finder can take upwards of 30 minutes, while with Duty Finder you'd get in within 5-10 minutes.
Why are people so against this? If it was added to DF it literally would not affect you, or your group whatsoever, not a bit. Let people smash their heads against it, why does it bother you what people do with their time? Are you afraid that a Duty Finder party actually beats you and comes out with that shiny loot you worked so hard for or something? If not that, then I don't see any reason that would actually affect you.

is there nothing else?
Clearly you didn't try Turn 5 with df when it was 1st added. out of 10 parties you may have got one that didn't rage quit after 1st go.
The general player base goes threw MSQ and Side Quest and trails and are ooo this is funs. Then they try raiding. and are OMFG... This isn't fun I died.
What are you talking about? I didn't say I'm against it, I couldn't care less either way. If it was in DF I wouldn't use it, I would still go with my static, so it wouldn't affect me. ie we agree? If it was added to DF it literally would not affect you, or your group whatsoever, not a bit. Just trying to give a reason of maybe why they don't put it to DF right away.
Also what do you mean a DF party "beats" me?
Or we don't care either way, but just know that we'll end up with a much bigger pool of people begging for nerfs on the content because they went in, wiped five times to Faust, then a tank left and 3/4 of the party followed. People saying DF would be a faster way to do this fail to realize just how quick people are to ragequit DF when things aren't going perfectly. Hell, I've seen people leave even when there's appreciable progress being made. Some content you can underman; Savage isn't that kind of content. It just wouldn't be clearable. Why are people so against this? If it was added to DF it literally would not affect you, or your group whatsoever, not a bit. Savage isn't going to have a huge pool of people that are willing to queue for it in DF either. I mean, there's threads upon threads why people don't queue as tanks for Expert Roulette and you want people to do it for Savage?
Honestly, my post was meant more to explain why it currently is the way it is. I don't care much if it changes, but I really don't foresee SE deciding to put their bleeding-edge raid content in the Duty Finder in the future.

I really should read over my posts before submitting (still not going to do it even after saying that), but I meant beat your expectations I guess, not the focus of my post regardless. By "you", I'm referring to everyone who is so vehemently against the idea of it going into DF, which it seems like you're not.
The point I was trying to get across was that it doesn't affect anyone who currently raids Savage, it only opens it up to more players. SE themselves may have a reason for restricting it, but I really don't understand those people who are against here, and even that one person who suggested that it shouldn't drop loot, hence the part about the loot in my post. Of course people would be less inclined to do it if there was no loot, not exactly a big revelation. No one but the best of the best really tried to take down Savage Coil, and why? Because a title wasn't enough for most.
