Again you are only reinforcing the idea that WHM is no longer better in every healing respect. There are differences in playstyles and capabilities, we tried it with the other healers being massively more powerful it didn't work.

But shouldn't whm be better in almost every healing respect since they don't have any utility anymore? being a little better in burst healing does not make a class unique and right now playing it feels dull. Gonna stick with astro until they change things.

WHM is not meat to bring utility.
WHM is meant to bring the strongest PURE BURST HEALS even the dev team mentioned this.
I have WHM friends and they are pretty happy with their job, they're not mad at the AST buffs, and don't even want to switch to AST.

Again, if we want to talk about buffs, astro has synastry, whm has divine seal, which is better is debatable and situational I would assume, other is 20% buff lasting 20s and also has the healing sharing on a 90s cd, other is 30% buff lasting 15s on a 60s cd. PotM counterpart would be lightspeed, although lightspeed does not lower cgd , it makes spells that have 3s cast time (like aspected helios) to be almost instacast and also has mp management and the opportunity to move while healing. I find it hard to see how whm completely owns everyone in burst healing. And you should not forget that the sects also give you passive buff, making your every normal healing spell actually more potent than whm ones when in nocturnal stance. 5% speed buff does not hurt either.

Btw divine seal is a 30% buff not a 20% buff, again, the strongest healing buff in the game.

Of course AST gets benefit from sects, they only have 1 emergency tool being ed on a 40 sec CD.
Synastry is a bit better now and Lightspeed does not provide THAT much help.
CO is a joke and CU still does not allow you to move or cast anything at all.

White Mage should not be better in every healing respect. WHM is better at burst, and raw healing all the way around as well as having better mana management, that is WHM utility. In exchange for being almost as good at healing AST gets RNG buffs that is AST utility.
As far as it feeling dull I agree, its super safe super boring straight up healing class. Could they add some flavor probably. Is it needed, not really.

Assize, Tetra, Asylum (yes it DOES count), Divine seal, Presence of the mind, a 150 pot regen that can be buffed by DS (stronger than AST asp.ben) < all CDs increase your healing output by some pretty good amounts.
What else do you want?
