If the proshell trait had stayed, it would have been unfair to the other healers because it would have made it necessary to bring a whm to every single endgame scenario. I agree that the graniteskin change was they should have just weakened it instead of outright removing it from like 18% -> 14/15%

Yeah I can understand why they would like to make protect the same for everyone, the graniteskin removal I don't understand though. Completely agree with you that if they felt 18% was too much then maybe just nerf it to 15%. And maybe I worded that badly when I said that I was not bothered by this until the astro buffs. I play astro myself and really like the buffs, they however drove me from being somewhat frustrated with the changes to being really frustrated, since now on top of losing those traits whm also lost having the best raw heal output, making the job feel dull.

Seriously....WHM is the best and strongest healer in the game, pure burst heals with the strongest healing CD and the strongest instant heals in the game they're not meant to bring "utility" they're meant to outheal every other class, stop crying.

I want them to bring back either one of those traits, realistically the graniteskin. And if we look the burst heals of white mage, tetra is pretty much on par with essential dignity, although ed having 20s shorter cd, yeah bene is good but is has 5 min cd, you can only use it once maybe twice in a fight, now we are left with assize which is good yeah, there is no denying that whm has better burst heal but it is not better by a huge amount. Yeah whm is meant to outheal every class, but I am not so sure how it is meant to do that anymore.

Again you are only reinforcing the idea that WHM is no longer better in every healing respect. There are differences in playstyles and capabilities, we tried it with the other healers being massively more powerful it didn't work.

But shouldn't whm be better in almost every healing respect since they don't have any utility anymore? being a little better in burst healing does not make a class unique and right now playing it feels dull. Gonna stick with astro until they change things.

Assize, Tetra, Asylum (yes it DOES count), Divine seal, Presence of the mind, a 150 pot regen that can be buffed by DS (stronger than AST asp.ben) < all CDs increase your healing output by some pretty good amounts.
What else do you want?

WHM was always the worse out of the 2 healers pre 3.0 and anyone arguing has no idea what is talking about 'Im tired seeing posts with WHM "Still" OP. WHM is anything BUT op. Fights are not designed with the maximum healing output in mind , if that was the case sch wouldnt be able to dps and whm solo heal some phases, so this so called"opness" becomes a disadvantage. WHM was worse single target burst healer pre 3.0 than scholar , did you see any scholar thread crying after 3.0 that WHM got tetra and assize? I don't recall it, because they needed it and it was fair. But they buffed astrologian to the point of being WHM with cards hence more utility .

SCH can/wase able to DPS (2.0) because WHM can solo heal.... I fail to see your argument at all.

WHM wasn't worse it is a completely different play style to SCH. And in 3.0 it plays differently from AST as well...
