Laws of nature allows you travel to another country in 1-5 minutes? I'm sorry I don't see your point. It should take hrs if we are going by that rule.<STORYTYME>For all you people who are like "YAY INSTA AIRSHIP RIDE DURP LETS DO IT TO THE FERRY" I have news flash for you. There is a thing called anima. There doesn't have to be a time paradox going on or bending reality or whatever you would call it (I know its a game a fantasy game, but there still has to be some laws of nature). If you want something instant please use the anima SE gave you, if you don't have 1-5mins to spare(just guessing how long it would take to ride the airship). This is just silly, I don't even know how you guys think. If you could enlighten me on your ways, I would be in much appreciation. THE END </STORYTYME>
and real life transports are getting easier and easier, just like in game ...ffxi just got easier porting cause they added more options, for most part we all did our "time" those who didn't well they got lucky that it got easier for them or us. who ever.
what jnx said well, even though i agree that mmo's in general are turning to shit, it is in no way transportation that will kill it. least not if games are made like ffxi, they will always send us out into the big world for reasons. when they get so easy it not needed then it will become all isntanced crap like shooters. and they will make it all solo ...and it will be like offline games but still try to charge u monthly. heck call of duty got a mmo on way, i can't even... think of what that will be like and how they plan to charge monthly for it lol.
but a choice to ride a boat or not isn't anywhere near that, it is all the other stuff around it. content wise, challenging wise ...the ease of doing things will kill mmo's cause leaders disapear, more people need to be able to do things themselves thus need to keep making things easier for them. ...in no way a boat ride.
