gimmie abreak, the teleporting and boats have nothing to do with the ease of game, i'm as hardcore(if thinking in time played per day) as it gets an i want absolute free anima. it's a time sink that is useless, if u'r not fighting mobs and progressing then it's a pointless time sink. sitting on a boat don't equat to giving everyone batral drops, or everyone a mythic weapon. it for the most part is opposite ...most players who play for more then 3hrs a day will run out of anima in a minute, using boats from city to city with or without waiting on boat will be needed an used multiple times a day. skipping the long wait just seems logical. from there u still gotta run to camps or anima port.

not to be rude but u all must be people with bf ..or gf in game and enjoy forced 5mins of snuggling and making him play emotes of cuteness and role play with you on boat. it's the only lol reason i can think of that u would want to sit on that boat for 10mins if not afk. do your forplay on u'r own time don't make the rest of us run walk or afk when we want to be playing, ty.

also to add, the getting to places as the game moves on year by year will only get easier, they make it a challenge at start. it is made as a slop in ffxi an i think that is the same thing they trying to create here a little.

Clearly adding instant travel makes the darkhold take less skill. Clearly.
It's part of the slippery slope to having everything at your fingertips. I'm sure you will be around for years to come when convience takes precidence over content. Everything will be easy to do and to get to.

I'll ask you again, whats the point of having different cities or markets or anything when they are but a step away? This kind of stuff invalidates a large portion of content the developers spent time creating. But you wouldn't want to actually talk about that kind of stuff would you? It's all about how easy it is for you, don't worry about thinking long term or how this effects not only transportation.

If people just roll over and accept it, this is how all the content will be dolled out. Trying to please everyone, I'm here to argue my dissatisfaction about that and your here to argue your aproval of it, don't just walk away and say.

"I got my way!" tell us why you think this is a good idea beyond saving you some time.

People opposed are mainly saying: "Why are their no requirements for anything, why is there no challenge to anything, why is everything instant?" People have a right to ask and get an answer to these questions from the developers. Will their be any content designed for those of us who want requirements, skill, time, dedication?

Or will that always have "Options" for the lazy as well? Will there be content for players who don't want airships to be instant, or to be headed to a party and be hussled by a bunch of people who want to somehow squeeze a level in before their lunch break is over...

Instant travel is fine, as long as it has limitations and control...unlimited instant access to free town-town warps is downright silly.

Developers haven't told us if there will be or ever will be any penalty or requirement or cost to instant travel so we must assume that their is none. I like much of the content that is being introduced to the game, but I am also allowed to dislike some changes, especially changes that I feel kill the longevity of the game, or are leading to further bad decissions in what I think the proper direction for the game is.

I can't speak for everyone so I speak for myself, and I hope everyone else who feels the same way as I do speak up so they can be heard as well.

Having ONE vaguely challenging thing in an entire game does not make up for making everything else require nothing at all.

If you want something instant please use the anima SE gave you, if you don't have 1-5mins to spare(just guessing how long it would take to ride the airship). This is just silly, I don't even know how you guys think. If you could enlighten me on your ways, I would be in much appreciation. THE END </STORYTYME>
Laws of nature allows you travel to another country in 1-5 minutes? I'm sorry I don't see your point. It should take hrs if we are going by that rule.

nope because lately they added a hard raid and made it harder to heal and party by increasing the MP on mages. So its in fact going the other way while still taking away all of the usless time sinks. (like walking everywhere, repair system, crafting system etc.)

So we don't have to see where they are going we already know. Since 1.18 was the first of many changes expect the rest of the changes to follow suit since it is in the same plan.
