Clearly adding instant travel makes the darkhold take less skill. Clearly.
It's part of the slippery slope to having everything at your fingertips. I'm sure you will be around for years to come when convience takes precidence over content. Everything will be easy to do and to get to.

I'll ask you again, whats the point of having different cities or markets or anything when they are but a step away? This kind of stuff invalidates a large portion of content the developers spent time creating. But you wouldn't want to actually talk about that kind of stuff would you? It's all about how easy it is for you, don't worry about thinking long term or how this effects not only transportation.

If people just roll over and accept it, this is how all the content will be dolled out. Trying to please everyone, I'm here to argue my dissatisfaction about that and your here to argue your aproval of it, don't just walk away and say.

"I got my way!" tell us why you think this is a good idea beyond saving you some time.

People opposed are mainly saying: "Why are their no requirements for anything, why is there no challenge to anything, why is everything instant?" People have a right to ask and get an answer to these questions from the developers. Will their be any content designed for those of us who want requirements, skill, time, dedication?

Or will that always have "Options" for the lazy as well? Will there be content for players who don't want airships to be instant, or to be headed to a party and be hussled by a bunch of people who want to somehow squeeze a level in before their lunch break is over...

Instant travel is fine, as long as it has limitations and control...unlimited instant access to free town-town warps is downright silly.

Developers haven't told us if there will be or ever will be any penalty or requirement or cost to instant travel so we must assume that their is none. I like much of the content that is being introduced to the game, but I am also allowed to dislike some changes, especially changes that I feel kill the longevity of the game, or are leading to further bad decissions in what I think the proper direction for the game is.

I can't speak for everyone so I speak for myself, and I hope everyone else who feels the same way as I do speak up so they can be heard as well.

nope because lately they added a hard raid and made it harder to heal and party by increasing the MP on mages. So its in fact going the other way while still taking away all of the usless time sinks. (like walking everywhere, repair system, crafting system etc.)

So we don't have to see where they are going we already know. Since 1.18 was the first of many changes expect the rest of the changes to follow suit since it is in the same plan.

How long did it take people to master that dungeon...a matter of days? Hell if anything the only "Hard" part is trying to do a speed run.

The speed run isn't even hard it's just class excluding and detrimental to game play equality.

Well, inasmuch as a slippery slope is usually considered a fallacy, I'm not sure it's actually wrong, per se.
