Seems good to me. Though seems a bit op. They can do everything
Sorry, like I said in the other thread.. Vampires are a race, or otherwise an affliction. It's not a 'job' or a 'class.'
Rogue is right in this that is what they are their either a race a pure blood or they wer turned. Now not saying it's terrible but it have to be worked in a way saying their vampire hunters not full on vampires.
Like there could be a sect of vampires that's devoted to keeping their kind a secret but now ones gone rogue and is threatening to revile their existence because of their actions they need you to help stop them because they can't get too involved with other people so they give you just a small amount of their power to help but you won't become one.
But really I want a sword wilding blue Mage it's the only dps I want to play.
hehe sense in a game with magic and moogles you're funny, but how does changing a waepon change your class too? That does not make sence. In fact warriors in reality used many different styles of weapons, not just one. How does holding onto a stick make one a black mage sence White mage also holds a stick as well. Anyways I'm all for new ideas. At least something might give them some inspiration on new stuff.![]()
Sounds pretty close to blue mage
To those saying Vampire is not a Job/Class needs to remember that they are drawing this idea from Bravely Default's Vampire Job. Yes, typically vampires are viewed as a race more so than an weapon/skill set you can swap in and out at will, it was featured in Bravely Default which is a Square Enix game. Vampire in my opinion plays out like Blue Mage anyway.
I love the vibe and the feel of this idea but I will agree that Vampire in this universe should probably stay as a race if it is implemented, HOWEVER, tweak a few things and it can be given a different name with similar if not the same abilities. Personally I feel you could easily give this the title "Blood Mage" and tweak a few things here and there and it just as easily fits. (Even the quests could still be similar, just replace the idea of vampirism with Blood Magic being super forbidden and only practiced/taught at night out of fear of persecution or something.)
This kit to me seems to be a nice mix of Vampire/Blue Mage with the Physical+Magical DPS feel of Red Mage (Being able to use spells but also having a good portion of physical attacks as well). The junction slots with having an array of spells to pick from sets it apart even further from the others as well. Of course there will probably be ones that become obsolete as time goes on but it would be cool to have several nitch/situational spells to swap in every once in a while. To help with hotbars it could be that the actual skill on the hotbar counts as the Junction Slot # instead of each hotbar spot counting for the respective spells......constancy changing around 15/25 spells would be a nightmare lol. And the weapon being a whip instead of the usual array of weapons is awesome. I'm all for this idea xD
EDIT: Going even further with the physical/magical idea It could be that the main weapon is the whip and they could have an off hand that is some form of orb or blood accessory like an arm attachment or a jewel on the character's palms or throat. Just a thought lol

FW had a Vampire class as a headliner which was a magical DPS/debuff like class with semi-healing capabilities.
If it's like that then sure but the game has plenty of DPS right need and we need some CC/debuff/Warlock classes already.
It's final fantasy.
Not vampire diaries
