no thanks. I rather want to see blue mage, beast master, red mage, dancer, puppet master, samurai (YEAH) before anything. Also, Vampire doesn't seems go well with final fantasy. DRK is pretty much as close as it can get.

I'm impressed by how much thought you put into this.....
That being said.................
No.

actually vampire is a class from bravely default, it's the one remplacing the blue mage, that said. i dunno...
Sounds like a lot of people missed out on bravely default, what a shame, its a great game!
Its more a "FF game" than some in the main number series :x just cause it doesnt have
FF in its title means very little.
I hope they keep thinking outside the box for jobs. thats how we get awesome fun stuff
and new jobs into the series.
So very much this. Bravely Default was SE's throwback to the older FF games and it's fantastic. It's not a perfect game by any means, it has more than a few flaws in places, but it "feels" like more of a Final Fantasy than a lot of the games in the series. It's definitely in my top 5 of all the RPG's I've played, but I still don't think any RPG will top Chrono Trigger, my favorite RPG and favorite game of all time.![]()
Expect we already have the Valerian equipment, which is based off of Vagrant Story (which isn't a Final Fantasy but is considered part of the Ivalice Alliance).
We're also getting Lord VerMinion, which is a playful pun on SE's cardgame, Lord Vermillion. That's an FF either (even though it does have allusions to the series in it).
To add even more, Rowena even mentions "Flying Faires" in a conversation, which refers to Bravely Default's Japanese name, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy.
And what is this can of worms that will open? Old Squaresoft and Enix games being put in the limelight? Oh-no, the horror! D:
Fans are going to demand their favorite non-FF games get some recognition? They're already doing it and are probably going to continue doing that.

At some point in FFXIV's life, I'm expecting this fellow to show up. His race is 'Vampyr' (yes, that's a y) in FFXI and most of his attacks are what you'd expect of a vampire. One of which actually charms players as well as turn them into bats.

In FFXIV's world, I can't see Vampire being a Job, but rather a higher ranked species of voidsent... or a part of the Spoken races like the siren, tonberry, etc (Beastmen are a part of this, but I focused on the two that have traits vampires have. The charm from sirens and the "disease" of tonberrys).

Look guys, the full title of the game is Bravely Default: Flying Fairy (Where the Fairy Flies). It has FF in the name. It's a spinoff (Spiritual Successor) to Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. It's a FF game.
