Mega pots are 950 gil each from the vendor in Ishgard. 95k gil for 100 of them.
They're about half as effective as Draconian pots, but at 5% of the price. At least use them until you get enough funds for the good stuff.

Thank you for your inputs. I will start learning to incorporate fracture into my rotation and try to get used to using pots and food. I'll be back with a stronger parse!
So I got 1337.71 dps on Faust tonight at i191. 26% crit percentage. Is that above or below or right about average?
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
FOR DOCKHAND!
Latest dummy parse video I can find which seems to confirm the Faust numbers:

(i194 with i200 weapon, 1325 dps for 3mins)
Credit to poster, not mine definitely.
lol. Party makeup was: Monk, Dragoon, Summoner, Machinist, Scholar, Astrologian, Paladin, Warrior.
Interestingly, our Warrior did 1055 dps on the fight. Paladin tanked everything.
What do you guys think, from the perspective of a Monk who is not likely to do Savage anytime soon, about going after the full Alex NM set and the Eso stuff, mixing and matching as the situation warrants? I'm already doing that, but I guess my question is, do you think it's worth it to collect the full Alexander set alongside the full Esoterics set or are there certain pieces that are always garbage compared to the alternative?
Without accuracy being any sort of major requirement a mix of Alex i190 gear and Esoterics gear is going to be ideal. The Ai190 Alex gear that you'd look at as desirable are pieces without accuracy compared to pieces of Esoterics that do have accuracy. Now don't take that as 100% fact because there's always exceptions. Just a general rule though for a lower item level piece to be better than a higher item level piece you generally will be comparing a no accuracy piece (i190 in this case) to an accuracy piece of higher item level (i200).What do you guys think, from the perspective of a Monk who is not likely to do Savage anytime soon, about going after the full Alex NM set and the Eso stuff, mixing and matching as the situation warrants? Right now the stat priorities are Crit > Det > SS. Dervy posted up some rough stat weights some pages back. They are accurate enough to pick gearing pieces at least. Eventually he'll fine tune the weights so we have a more accurate number.
This is what I came up with in regards to BiS, based on acc >630 , Crit det and ss. http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/RDJ6
