I wish i could just say No to these kinds of quests honestly. The drk questline pre 50 storyline summed it up perfectly what i was thinking.

But you normally do, unless it will have a direct affect on the plot in one form or another (AKA is an MSQ).
It's called "not accepting sidequests".
Being humble doesn't mean that you have to allow people to take advantage of your generous nature. Because that's what the npcs are doing. Why can't Tataru pick up her own clothes, or ask ANYONE else to do it. You as the WoL have more on your plate than most other people in the world, but npcs have no qualms piling on more menial tasks cuz apparently your time is worth less than theirs.Good to know that after killing a few primals you consider yourself too good to help a friend make something nice for another friend who just basically came back from death. Arrogant much? Stay humble and help your fellow man even with menial daily tasks, you didn't suddenly become too good for that just because you can kill primals without risk of being tempered.
As an example, I would ask Superman to move a giant boulder that was threatening to damage my home, or I'd even ask him to help me out with doing a task for a mutual friend, as it would be nice coming to both of us. I would not ask Superman to go pick up my dry cleaning. Especially if I'm not doing anything else, and there are many others that could do it,but I know he'll just suck it up and do it, even if he doesn't want to.
Superman has better things he could be doing.

End of the day, the WoL is an adventurer. The lore makes adventurers out to be the type who will do about anything for money, and hold little loyalty to much anything. They're helpful but effectively sellswords. To the normal person you're an adventurer, to those in the know you're the WoL.
And as for Tataru, well you're bigger than her, stronger than her, have better connections in some means than her, you could pick up stuff a LOT faster than her.
...Unless you're on Dialup.
WoL is not a sellsword. Not as far as I'm concerned, anyway.End of the day, the WoL is an adventurer. Except you are not the average adventurer. Not by a long shot.End of the day, the WoL is an adventurer. So could literally any other adventurer or scion. No one else is as busy or as relied upon as you, how about spreading the effort around?

I've always figured people who make these complaints must be really fun to hang out with in person.
"Hey, man, could you grab me a soda while you're up?"
"AM I YOUR SLAVE!? STOP ABUSING ME! I DON'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING YOU TELL ME TO DO!"
"Hey, here's 40 bucks, could you run out and get me some nails so I can finish up this porch?"
"GO TO HELL, I'M NOT YOUR SERVANT!"
"Hey, could you pick up this stuff for the party while I finish setting up here?"
"I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO DO THAN PICK UP YOUR PARTY SUPPLIES, LIKE SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR IT TO START!"
She's a friend asking you to do a favor while she put on some finishing touches on the bit she had. And she paid you for it.

So because you're this big hero, helping others is now beneath you, no matter how mindless? Everyone should now bow in awe at your presence as the peasants carry you by, or you're stepping on them. Oh wait I just saw you're level 57, excuse me, step on.
Part 1: Maybe not, still an adventurer.
Part 2: The only other confirmed living Scion is KO'd thenext room over. Alphinaud's weaker than you in every way.
And Other adventurers? Would you trust someone who's a random sellsword with a coat made of Chimeric flesh (which is supposedly hyper rare based on the storyline) and a very, very specially crafted wand that together probably costed millions upon millions of gil conventionally over a friend?
Part 2.5 (AKA edit): And I'd trust my expensive/rare stuff with the strongest man in the land over whimpy Alphinaud anyday.
Yea sure, you're techinicalky a lot of things. If you were an adventurer first and foremost like you're implying, the WoL would actually be less likely to do these non-paid menial tasks, since like you said; adventurer.
All the dudes that are in mordhona or the waking sands with no story relevance are who I was referring to. And I'll use the superman analogy again. I'm not going to take time out of his day to ask him to pick up my dry cleaning when me or any one else could do it, just because he can do it faster. Maybe he has better things to do. Or is tired of constantly putting others before himself?Part 2: The only other confirmed living Scion is KO'd thenext room over. Alphinaud's weaker than you in every way.

You do all these favours for your "friends" but how often do they do any for you? And a lot of people here seem to think that what constitutes a friend is some who just does stuff for you. Cuz that's the vast majority of the interaction you have with many of the characters in this game. I could maybe buy this is there was reciprocity between you, but there isn't. People tell you to do things, and keep doing it over and over and over with you getting nothing in return because apparently you never want or need anything or appreciate having nice things done for you.
