Spend 90m+ gil
Do a quest line
Do some sort of grind to earn it


You were lucky enough to get it by simply logging in, something that pretty much everyone that plays the game does everyday. I am willing to work for it and spend resources to earn it now.

Please just stop. Look I get it ok you like to role play your self as this that's fine. But you using this reason stating you want it because you role play this. Its insulting I don't know about others but I sure as hell didn't just made a character and sat on my a?? Waiting for the moon to crash I did stuff. I did every event did every story quest.

Your not going to win here you already see that pretty much every one is against it they'd like other tattoos to have fine.

See this is why I literally have to keep repeating myself. You got the tattoo for logging in. You did not have to do quests. You did not have to pay money. You did not have to be over a certain level, or go to a certain place.
You logged on during an event, that is why you got the tattoo.
There are level 1s with the tattoo who did not do anything. There are probably RMT bots that qualify for that tattoo.

You did the quests? Great. That is not why you have the tattoo.

You have people that had preordered with CE and played for a while but do not have it for not logging in at the right time.

Also can anyone cite these promises? The only ones that I can find online in archives state nothing about one time only, just that players will receive it if certain conditions are met.

Not talking about the full campaign with the credits and lower sub, mind you, but just the tattoo.

Also, for the primal shirts, Like I said, you can make one or buy it off someone. A quick google search shows a few places.

Considering you can't play 1.0 anymore, that version of the game is a "One time only" version. It won't come back anymore because the game was expanded upon and updated. The only way you can play 1.0 now is through private servers (which isn't official and not under SE's control).

Since your argument is we only got the tattoo for logging onto 1.0, 1.0 isn't around anymore. It is non existent so you can't get the tattoo.

The events leading up to 1.0's closure pretty much say it on their own if you ask me. I mean, the final cutscene of 1.0 is called "End of an Era". That pretty much screams "one time only" to me. The brand/tattoo was given to 1.0 characters that decided to play 2.0; whether you take it as a nod to continuity or a reward for sticking by the game at a dark time is pretty much irrelevant. It was given to 1.0 characters. 1.0 isn't around to be played anymore, so anyone that didn't play before it shut down can't have the brand because they weren't present for those events. You can't just retcon your character in to a backstory that they weren't there for. I don't RP on FFXIV, but I have on other games in the past and sometimes there are just things that you have to accept that you weren't a part of. Why not try to make something interesting out of what you already are?

The conditions can be met again if there is a kickback event, or more conditions are added. Nothing there was guaranteed as a one time event.

You can all be as rude as you want saying that I will never get it, but I can keep trying and asking for it until the very day this game shuts down. Never know what the future can hold!
