Adding Legacy Tattoo to Mog Station

This argument is invalid since there are items on the cash shop for which people were not there for. The past summer events, the valentines events, even the new years events (Which seem more 'time sensitive' in terms of what animal is for the year), the moon earring even, which was for an event to celebrate the hunters moon, is not even relevant anymore since Dalamud fall and the Hunter's moon event is no longer celebrated.

Whether you want to admit or not, SE is willing to be fair and offer items for people who missed out on events due to whatever RL situations, even if they the player were not "there"

The log in campaign event was nothing more than an event. no matter how much false importance and 'I support the game more!' you want to throw on it.

See this is why I literally have to keep repeating myself. You got the tattoo for logging in. You did not have to do quests. You did not have to pay money. You did not have to be over a certain level, or go to a certain place.
You logged on during an event, that is why you got the tattoo.
There are level 1s with the tattoo who did not do anything. There are probably RMT bots that qualify for that tattoo.

Also can anyone cite these promises? The only ones that I can find online in archives state nothing about one time only, just that players will receive it if certain conditions are met.

Not talking about the full campaign with the credits and lower sub, mind you, but just the tattoo.

Also, for the primal shirts, Like I said, you can make one or buy it off someone. A quick google search shows a few places.

Considering you can't play 1.0 anymore, that version of the game is a "One time only" version. It won't come back anymore because the game was expanded upon and updated. The only way you can play 1.0 now is through private servers (which isn't official and not under SE's control).

Since your argument is we only got the tattoo for logging onto 1.0, 1.0 isn't around anymore. It is non existent so you can't get the tattoo.

The events leading up to 1.0's closure pretty much say it on their own if you ask me. I mean, the final cutscene of 1.0 is called "End of an Era". That pretty much screams "one time only" to me. The brand/tattoo was given to 1.0 characters that decided to play 2.0; whether you take it as a nod to continuity or a reward for sticking by the game at a dark time is pretty much irrelevant. It was given to 1.0 characters. 1.0 isn't around to be played anymore, so anyone that didn't play before it shut down can't have the brand because they weren't present for those events. You can't just retcon your character in to a backstory that they weren't there for. I don't RP on FFXIV, but I have on other games in the past and sometimes there are just things that you have to accept that you weren't a part of. Why not try to make something interesting out of what you already are?
