Is there an elezan that hasn't died? I can only think of Urianger.

I'm pretty sure Hyur and Roe are about tied for the least popular. I see a fair amount of elezen and lalafell players. As for your list, you put down that you wouldn't count the numerous amount of Elezen under the villain section, but 3/4 of the MSQ characters that you're showing also died in the Heavensward expansion and are affiliated with Ishgard. It's because we're in Ishgard that it feels like a lot of Elezen are dying, because it's entirely populated by Elezen and Hyur. Not to mention that an NPC dying can potentially pull at the emotions of the player, and if you've ever played FFXIV, then you know that SE likes to play this card a lot.
I sometime laugh at this game having so many evil lalafells, which is supposed to be the cute race.
Interesting, mind if I ask for an official source? I've never heard that they're a separate race, pureblood sure, but with real world comparisons being 100% British/Australian or whatever doesn't separate you as a race entirely.Pureblood Garlean's is very much a race. Do you see any Hyur, Miqo'te, Lalafell, Roegadyn, Au Ra, or Elezen with third eyes, white hair? No, because that is what the Garlean race looks like. As a nation, there are non-Garlean, Garlean citizens (more like brainwashed captives) from Ala Mihgo and gods know where else.
I just want to emphasis what Yamimarik said. Garleans are a distinct separate race. Not only do they have notable physical differences (third eye, tall build, light hair), but they also have a genetic inability to use magic.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Not according to stats released by SE.I'm pretty sure Hyur and Roe are about tied for the least popular. I see a fair amount of elezen and lalafell players. Granted, these aren't very recent graphs, but Hyur does appeal to a lot of players.
If they aren't a separate race, what are they? Where is your source and proof to back up your claims? Admittedly I can't think of a source atm, other than the game. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned somewhere during some CS or such. But that could take awhile to find, and time I don't currently have.
Oh yeah! I forgot about that as well XD Thank you!

I know, I know. But like I said, mostly a for fun thread. The only serious part about my post is about female roegadyns. I did however still noticed that elezens are the first pick to be killed. And that female roegadyns are very uncommon as major parts of the game.
And that we have yet to see miqo'te(especially female) die.

My only source is that they look like other races /shrug, but I haven't heard otherwise up until now.If they aren't a separate race, what are they? Ha! Hyur is THE most played race! While a good few of those are bots, Hyur is still up there with Miqote as most popular. Elezen are almost as rare as Roegadyn.
Has it ever been confirmed whether Nael was pureblood Garlean or not (and if indeed they are a separate race)? As I'm pretty sure that during the brief moment of her we saw, she looked elezen. Could just be the form they decided to use for her, but I thought the other Garleans we had seen looked more human-like.
