Then maybe bother atleast reading the thread before posting. He didn't write about any uncapping, but having separate caps for each job.Twelve forbid that. I already know people who would probably do... OMG, enough letting people grind.
the weekly cap ensures that the player flow is daily more than weekly and keeps subs going on. If tip-top gears were uncapped or bought people would just subscribe for a month in every second major patch. Economically that is bad for a developing company.
It wouldn't change anything for people who main only one job. It would only give more freedom to people with multiple jobs.
No it's just SE is keeping you in check. You see if they let you burn past everything with 0 caps well your just going to get bored you pros will just max everything out and return here to say i'm bored make new game content.noope, no one is forcing anybody to do anything if you happy doing 1 roulette per day for you 1 job that's fine, but there's people who want to do more, right now we're being forced to play at your pace rather than our own, its about choice, and right now, we don't have oneYour playing at SE pacebut there's people who want to do more, right now we're being forced to play at your pace
I'm aware of that, thank you for your deepest concern.
You can't just use a trickle down policy? Even if you play multiple classes, why do they all need to be in the best gear immediately?I play only one job so I don't care, but this idea is not that bad and people are suggesting it for long time already.
Why are you able to have all classes when you can properly gear up only one. People in static cannot be even flexible with this system. Imagine having BRD geared with alex savage and eso items, I doubt you would want to roll over to healer and gear it up again from 0 for your static.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Get a life or a job. Rude remark aside, the idea is bad as it's not about multiple chars, it's one char which has multiple classes which mean one instance of session. Honestly , I don't see any point in them allowing this. Ok, you can farm for all your classes and after that what? Wait for the next expansion right?
When you are raiding savage (or even cob back then) you cannot reroll your job when you want, because you would just be undergeared (untill they get rid of caps) and would have to stop raiding for some time. Separate caps for jobs would let you reroll immediately (in case you kept gearing them too). For dungeon goers there would be probably zero concern in this, for raiders and such it would be nice improvement.
So I can get all left side (=4500 Eso) for SCH in 10 weeks and all Accesoires too, buying them with my WHM. And the rest of my 'WHM'-tomes can only used to buy WHM-stuff?!except you couldn't because the tome caps would be separate, it would be 450 per job, they wouldn't be pooled together, otherwise i would just say lift the cap altogether, i aren't wanting that, i'm just wanting a seperate cap for each job, rather than one for everything
Sounds like a token-for-every-class system to me.
E.g. SCH would be 'forced' by their raid static to level up WHM (and AST) to 60 and farm Esos, just to have all gear (and half gear of other classes of that part of the trinity) within 10 weeks.
And depending on how 'seious' your raid group is, it would be mandatory to level all classes... because when you can gear/level all classes, why shouldn't you use meta setting for every content and even try to do it with classes which might be less effective.
'Oh, you want to go SMN for A3S? I've heard BLM might be better choice and since you should have gear, pls switch.'
If you want to get more geared classes faster, you're allowed to create up to 8(?) characters with your profile. xD

This if finally some good argument over there sir.So I can get all left side (=4500 Eso) for SCH in 10 weeks and all Accesoires too, buying them with my WHM. And the rest of my 'WHM'-tomes can only used to buy WHM-stuff?!

They would probably have to introduce unique accessories for each job with the same stats, which would clutter armory a lot.
Good argument indeed.
why would they? it's there if you want to do it, its about choice, i know it feels good to see your tome stats say 450/450 at the end of the week, its fulfilling, but i can see that number after 2 days, then wonder what the hell do i do now, well i shouldn't be rushing...i'm not rushing i just enjoy the game, i play it alot, sure i can logoff and play other games, but i want to play this game! we're paying a monthly sub for this damn game for gods sake
brilliant, pretty much sums up the attitude of people, get a life...reallyGet a life or a job.
