I'm not seeing any metallic red, green, or blue from any fish. Maybe I'm just not finding the right fish...can you provide an example fish that gives one of those dyes please?

I'm still skeptical. I haven't seen any of the cash shop dyes documented as obtainable from anywhere other than the cash shop on any other sites.

Look, I have all the items. Even when I took a break from XIV, I took 5 mins of life to log on, do the event, then log off til the next event. The Cash Shop came out in Oct of last year. The Summer Event had already passed by then. Had it came out in the Summer time, it would have been the exact same thing. Look at when it first came about, Halloween items from last year were already thrown in the Cash Shop. It makes no different then, than it does now. I got dyable Undies now. People only use the black bikini set that comes from the Vet reward anyways.

If people really cared about Alts, they would make placeholder Alts. All Alts come with a nice free Fantasia. It's mega easy to level at least to 15. Do the event, log off. Problem Solved.

The purpose of the Placeholder Alt is for the possible future you may want to play on another Alt. If you have current Alts, then just do the events on all of them.
Also yes, the Black Bikini set is pretty much the only Bikini glamour set I see many use (even tho it's no different than the Lv44 set....or the Lv1 versions..)

As for past items, idk. Buy them, don't buy them, or have someone gift them to you. That's really your only options at this point.

Do you expect people to be able to see the future (like ending up rerolling on a different server)? Or to magically get around character creation restrictions (like on Balmung)?

I personally used all of the bikinis mixing and matching on characters on Balmung. Not for glamour, but just to wear around and take screenshots in occasionally and such. That some people like to glamour a certain set is not actually a valid argument against letting these things be available on the vendor like they used to.

Now I'm on Mateus with a new character, and have no access on the character I now play to the things I was around to obtain.
