People only use the black bikini set?? Placeholder alts?? You're seriously stretching. It's actually painful to watch.

The purpose of the Placeholder Alt is for the possible future you may want to play on another Alt. If you have current Alts, then just do the events on all of them.
Also yes, the Black Bikini set is pretty much the only Bikini glamour set I see many use (even tho it's no different than the Lv44 set....or the Lv1 versions..)

As for past items, idk. Buy them, don't buy them, or have someone gift them to you. That's really your only options at this point.
