The point is to make you think, and a bit to make you plan out what that next piece of gear that will allow you to wear your sweet new piece will be. Its part of the gameplay, once you get it you will enjoy it more.

Accuracy is a soft stat limiter. The developers know full well what they're doing when they made accuracy so valuable - it punishes blind stat stacking of other stats and provides a give-and-take situation when it comes to optimizing gear.
"It's not fun!" Says one, and the crowd that agrees pulls behind him.
"It IS fun!" says the contrary crowd with different viewpoints.
And then the Community falls into the same vile banter back and forth.
In the end, there's no pleasing anyone. SE's designed the stat this way to fit their vision of balancing the stats. We've already dealing with arguments that we don't have enough statistics, narrowing them further would serve to just anger them more. Stay calm, and enjoy the sauce. I know we're in the hunger phase where SE's yet to reveal what's coming in the next patch, but it will come soon to satiate your boredom and provide you something new(ish) to argue over.
It was stated in a live letter that accuracy was removed from all weapons in HW so that you wouldn't have to sacrifice using a better weapon because it had no acc on it. Well good job SE because you made the problem even worse by stacking all that acc onto gear pieces instead so now the exact same problem persists but on armor instead!

my SCH's accuracy is around 350 yet can broil on A4 with rarely miss, but I doubt it will miss on place like T13 (Or not? didn't try yet). If other job have this amount of accuracy, will they get mostly miss?

Most of the people in here advocating adding reforging to XIV probably used Reforgelite or some other comparable addon in WoW.
Yes the stat is pretty pointless. I hope they get rid of it and give us something else.
I miss when you could assign stat points to your character rather then depend on gear to do it for you. Really miss having to build a class where stats can change how it behaves.
Parry is useless and Accuracy is a token stat.
