How are you going to quit on a game that is free to play, just quit playing for now and then come back later for FREE and see what you think and i'm sure there will be more end game content that is not instance raids but the beginning game is still being worked on XDIf not please tell me now so I can just go ahead and quit.
Raids are fun and all, but if this is the only source of end game content I don't want any part of it. Please just tell us now if you plan to add more than just instanced dungeon raids.. The only end game content you keep saying is, "Another Instance Raid, Another instanced raid, 3rd instanced raid, 4th instance raid.."
I want to see some Sky, Sea, Nyzul Isle, Salvage, Limbus, etc type events.. not just instanced dungeons.. its SO Boring ot just kill mobs up to a Boss and then fight the boss.. give us other things to do... HNM's, Key Item farmed popable HNM's, Instanced HNM's, there is SO much you have done in the past and learned with FFXI.. Why throw it all out? The prime battles are great, but please don't stop there!
Yeah haha, that is kind of an empty threat when all you are really saying is "If I don't get my way I'm gonna stop freeloading off your hard work and burdening your servers with my presence!!!".
Why would I quit, I like the game.. I just don't want to do instaned raids like we have now and that be all there is to end game like SOOO many other MMO's out there.. All I'm asking for is variety in EVENTS. Stop being retarded.
It has nothing to do with "getting my way" Again, stop being retarded. Who wants to do instanced raids and only instanced raids? SHIT GETS BORING.. Cheesy Waffle Fries are AWESOME.. but if I eat them everyday.. welp.. you get the point.
i have no problems with things being instanced.. but the only end game content they keep talking about is Instance Raids.. like what we have now.. I love it when people read only what they want, and take only what they want out of a subject.
The OP has to be trolling........
1.2 we are getting an open world (public) "dungeon", with more planned for future patches. We also also have NM's which are open world, with more planned. Then we have alliance content with no idea of what shape that will take.
The developer responses about instanced content are all in response to people worried ala FFXI about the claim system causing monopolization so I would take them with that context in mind, and not to mean that "all future endgame content will be instanced".
Of course I said all this before on the last page, but you seem to have "read only what you want, and take only what you want out of a subject".
Its really the lack of content within the raids that are a problem. Like I keep mentioning they need to recycle the same zone and add more objectives. Think Raid zones like how Assasults were in FFXI.
Harder the objectives more points you earn and better gear you can obtain.
Another problem is the raid zones are too small for adding more objectives in freely in a devlopment point of view.
Maybe you should follow your own advice and realize that when yoshi-p uses the word instance he is not talking about wow dungeons. Almost everything will be instanced content, doesn't matter if its open world or in dungeons. If you're failing to understand that then stop being stupid. Why would I quit, I like the game.. I just don't want to do instaned raids like we have now and that be all there is to end game like SOOO many other MMO's out there.. All I'm asking for is variety in EVENTS. Stop being retarded.

I love the idea that the game is going in a more instanced direction for events. I don't hate OW, but unless the content is presented in just the right way, it just creates problems, drama, etc. So for instance if a certain NM drops a highly sought after item, and has an extremely rare drop rate, then I'd hate for it to be OW and on some kind of timer. However, if they made said OW NM a triggered event, then I'd be ok with it (trading an item that is reasonably obtainable to a ???, etc etc) And I really cant wait for awesome Large-scale OW content in the form of something like campaign, with ranks and rewards for participation (I'd be shocked if this isnt one of the future purposes of Companies).
As I said, I dont hate OW content, but I'd rather have most if not all actual endgame events be Instanced. I think in this way the devs can better control the scenario, battle mechanics, limitations, story, and atmosphere. For instance things like Salvage and Limbus were impressive, but Sky and Sea were not to me. Its also hard to feel like you or your group are the heros in OW content. Instanced content just feeld more personal and better tailored for adventure to me, where as OW is really good for Large-scale battles where you are supposed to feel like a cog on the wheel. Maybe its just me?
