Yes SWToR and LotRO work fine with the hybrid. Pay-to-win no I am not a fan, like I said SWToR and LotRO where you can unlock parts of the game on free-to-play side straight out or you can get cosmetics. Subs get everything unlocked and some cash shop currency. My only regret is that I almost bought LotRO for life which ended up being a pretty good deal. Saying these things I would probably sub when I was playing anyways so it would matter little as long as not pay-to-win enters the game.

I quit WoW because of Token system, if ff14 Implement something similar I will quit too. I believe quality in pay to play mmo and I'm bit satisfy with ff14 than current WoW.

I saw few games that f2p , tried some games that f2p , quality if those games not even close to FFXIV ( XI also btw ) . I Belive f2p games have low financial resources so that why they just can't Unleash any potential .

I'm not sure if I believe the latter but I do believe in the former. So...

It depends on the model. If FFXIV were to use the content-based Hybrid model (like DDO and LotRO do), and didn't cripple "Premium" players too much (like SWTOR does with the credit cap which, last I checked, can only be permanently raised by removing it with a subscription), I'd stay. Otherwise, I'd start looking elsewhere for my MMO fix again.

I don't like games that are "Pay 2 Win", but "Free to Play" doesn't have to be this. Not many MMOs have gotten it right, but there are a few that have.

Yoshi P himself stated that he would rather pull the plug on the servers, than let the game sink into the cesspool of the F2P market. Ain't happening.

I never said "all" F2P players were plebs. There are exceptions. But for the most part they are. And I completely and utterly disagree with you about them "always being more skilled". My experience is the exact opposite. F2P players tend to be a lot more non-committal, lazy and irresponsible. Those are not qualities that make for "skilled players."

If you want to make a claim that some F2P players may be skilled because being F2P allows them to freeload and spend hours and hours playing, and thus improving... I can accept that. But making ridiculous and illogical absolute claims is just worthless. That, and going F2P will almost always double a population... which also brings in the most toxic of all MMO gamers: The F2P only crowd.

I'd drop it like a bad habit. I haven't played a free mmo yet where the community badn't devolved into cretinous scum. My sub fee feels like a gated community with a sign out front that says: 'No thank you.'

A lot of people in this game will abandon a duty after 1 fail, non-committal. Majority of people here tell people to go watch videos instead of taking a few seconds to explain a boss. A lot of people here refuse to learn their class properly, both are lazy and the latter is irresponsible AND lazy. Not to mention majority of f2p mmos have like -0.23432 percent drop rate so they have to actually work for things unlike p2p games with token systems that hand you gear for logging in.

I actually never gave my opinion on why I think they are most skilled. I also said "seems". That means that's what it appears to be, may not be what it actually is. Soooo again I never made any absolute claims lol.
