but as far as ff14 is considered i think it will last AT LEAST 10 years. (yoshi has said in an interview wanted ff14 to last 10 years.)

If they want it to last 10 yrs then they need to think about attracting new players with their expansions instead of pandering to long time and current subscribers. There is alway going to be attrition when an mmo ages and it seems like they have no plans to replace those subs.
