SE Please change Pure White/Jet Black Dyes

Can we please not have dyes hidden behind ridiculously random bs?
It's dye's, it's glamour.
Shouldn't be behind a paywall or a drop rare as all hell.

This is absolutely true.

But this also the game that has devs who seem to think simply being able to dye your gear should require crazy amounts of gil and/or raiding. They apparently do not subscribe to the idea that players should have fun customizing their character... *sigh*

I've seen a few "Dying Services" on Exodus, offering to dye your items with untradable dyes, including cash shop dyes, for gil. How did SE not see this coming? >o>
With how quickly we get new equipment, both stat-giving and glamour, dyes are just too finite to be walled behind this kind of stuff.

Yes, spend $2+ extra a month to get untradable dye that you will use up on one piece of armor that you'll have to re-glamour after the next major patch pops up with better equipment. >w>

It's fine if the mats are a bit pricey, but they should go craft/tradeable.

Dye the original piece you glamour from, that way the colour will stick when glamoured. That's ofc if you gonna keep using that old glam on new pieces aswell.

I really just don't get it. There are many baffling design decisions in FFXIV, but the whole dye thing is just... so beyond reason.
