Rare dyes obtainable through other means?

I have over 100 pots of silver and gold, 90+ of black and white. I've already gotten 20-30 of each pastel. I wish they'd stop. at least fish I can desynth.

I'm in need of some dyes myself and I'm quite low on Ventures...
My GC Seals have been going towards Bombard Cores and my Allied Seals towards Unstained Logs making Ventures hard to come by for me.

So another method to obtaining them would definitely be welcome.

It's been quite a while, so the prestige aspect of the dyes has long gone. I can definitely get behind something like this for something as irrelevant as the dyes. Those of us that already have a stockpile of them really wouldn't be affected since... saves us MGP? Actually, it might help those of us that have some, since that means we can free up retainer/inventory space knowing that there's a concrete means to get them if we ever need it LOL.

If it's still supposed to be a prestigious thing, I really don't see why it can't be an expensive prize then. 5k per? 10k? Higher might honestly be a bit much if its a 1-per thing lol.

I agree, add the cash shop ones too. I don't really like the RGB metallic ones anyway but it seems a little unfair to have them cash shop only. Dyes could easily be something that could continuously be added to gold saucer to keep interest going in future patches as once everyone gets the pieces they want or give up on Fenrir mount, it will be empty (current issues with triad card tournament and lack of reward/time for chocobo racing investment and racing) except for hoards of people getting their weekly lotto and daily scratchcard.

I approve of this, I want at least one pot of Pure White, considering all my retainer brings me back are HQ Melathor Goby's, this can be an issue...

I also approve of the trade-in idea, the Twelve know I have enough Metallic Silver dye.

A trade in system is 'fine....if, and only IF, your retainer brings back dyes at all. There is little to no point in creating an exchange feature when the acquisition of dyes is so RNG that obtaining them seems to be a never ending grind of ventures followed by more disappointment.
