    It would certainly be better than the current version of it. A possible alternative would be to keep most of the mechanics but add invulnerability so that healers can push the Dark Knight's HP to almost full and then top it off when the ability is about to expire. As a Scholar Main I hate that it practically punishes the healer for not being a white mage with benediction on hand. I feel forced to use all of my lustrates to save them from their own ability and in dungeons like vault the bosses hit hard so most of that lustrate healing gets eaten by the next hard hitting attack. Having at least some form of damage mitigation or just lowering the HP percentage required to survive would be a huge help.

    As of right now I consider the good Dark Knights to be the ones who take this ability and throw it in the garbage those that use this ability at all in any content with me as the healer immediately disqualifies them from player commendations. The ability in its current form is so healer dependent it is actually the healer using their own emergency buttons that really saves a dark, and if the dark still isn't at full HP but is at a sustainable amount the fact they die anyway is annoying as it wastes healer MP and emergency cooldowns. It is my biggest gripe with the Job either of the fixes would make me okay with healing them.
