    Living dead suggestion

    Perhaps, instead of requiring 100% of your max hp in healing before walking dead expires to survive, they could make the hp threshold around 20-25% and it will remove the insta-death debuff while leaving the holmgang like effect of not being able to go below 1hp. Alternatively we could have 100% lifesteal while its up to help with topping ourselves up. Thoughts?
